In the White Hall of the Kruševac Cultural Center, starting at 7:00 PM, a theater performance titled “The Enamored King” was held. This performance was prepared by children and youth, participants in the summer acting school as part of inclusive workshops within the Reintegrate II project.
The attendees had the opportunity to enjoy this educational play with elements of comedy and drama, performed by 11 future actors, participants of the inclusive workshops, with the support of three other workshop participants responsible for stage design, costumes, and organizing the performance.
Under the directorial guidance of Lidija Užarević, an acting teacher, and with a script composed by Miodrag Dinulović and Luka Kijačić, we witnessed the creation of a new generation of actors from Kruševac, who, inspired by the creation of this theatrical work, will undoubtedly find their passion in the world of theatrical arts in the future.
The performance is the result of more than 20 inclusive drama workshops and eight scenic design workshops organized within the Reintegrate II project, which is led by the German organization ASB (Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund), in partnership with the Initiative for Development and Cooperation (IDC) from Belgrade. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the City Administration of Kruševac.
